# LocalProof Privacy Notice

LocalProof is operated by Davisville Labs LLC. This notice covers the public site, machine interfaces, public-record research requests, paid machine operations, and privacy-minimized commerce telemetry.

## Information LocalProof processes

LocalProof processes the place or property information needed to perform a requested research operation, such as an address, city, state, jurisdiction identifier, parcel identifier, facility or permit identifier, and bounded query parameters. It also processes operation, timing, source, payment, settlement, delivery, and error metadata needed to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and account for the service.

LocalProof researches official public sources. A source record can itself contain information about people or businesses. LocalProof uses explicit source-field allowlists for released operations and intentionally excludes owner names, owner mailing addresses, phone numbers, valuation fields, and similar fields in jurisdictions where those exclusions are part of the published source contract. The service does not promise that every government source is free of personal information.

## What LocalProof does not intentionally collect for analytics

Commerce analytics is designed not to contain raw addresses, raw prompts, arbitrary request bodies, buyer IP addresses, credentials, private keys, payment proofs, or paid result bodies. LocalProof never forwards caller Authorization headers, cookies, payment credentials, arbitrary caller headers, or caller request bodies to public source systems.

## Public-source requests and service providers

LocalProof sends only server-generated, bounded query parameters to allowlisted official public-source hosts needed for the requested research. Those government systems and infrastructure providers may process ordinary technical request information under their own policies. Davisville Labs also uses infrastructure and payment providers to host, secure, route, settle, and recover paid operations.

## Retention, sharing, and sale

LocalProof may retain bounded payment-recovery state, normalized public-source observations, source-health state, and operational logs for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, prevent duplicate charges, improve source reliability, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting obligations. Davisville Labs does not sell LocalProof user data. Information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect the service and its users, or to service providers acting on our behalf.

## Access, correction, and source issues

Public records can be wrong, stale, or later corrected. To report a source error, ask about retained information, request correction or deletion where applicable, or raise a privacy concern, contact hello@davisvillelabs.com. Some records may need to be retained for security, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution, or other legal obligations.
